Inyo's card processing is built on direct acquiring relationships rather than reseller chains — meaning fewer intermediaries between your transaction and the network, more control over interchange and authorization logic, and clean settlement reporting. Card processing operates through IPS Payments US, the PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor inside the Inyo group.
The API supports purchases, Account Funding Transactions (AFTs), Original Credit Transactions (OCTs), and refunds through one consistent surface. The right network indicators — AFT flags, MIT classification, COF markers, network tokens — are applied automatically based on transaction context and your MCC.
PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure
IPS Payments US, Inyo's card processor, holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification — the highest tier, required for processors handling more than six million card transactions per year. Network tokenization built in
Tokens are created against the network (VTS, MDES) rather than locked to a single acquirer. They survive card lifecycle events (re-issue, expiration) and follow your transactions across cascades without re-vaulting. Card-on-file flows and recurring authorizations carry the correct MIT/COF indicators automatically.
AFT-native classification
If your business funds a wallet, prepaid card, or money transfer with a card payment, the transaction must be classified as an AFT per the Visa AFT mandate. Inyo's API applies the correct AFT indicator, MCC, and sender data on every applicable transaction — including from MagicTerminal at the point of sale.
3D Secure 2 and authorization optimization
